Creating Films in indigenous Languages has been a great joy of my career. Seeing Indigenous worlds come to life on screen has been the most rewarding of all my work. The first film I ever saw in Cherokee language was an animation that I created in graduate school, “The Beginning They Told”’. After that it was the motivating factor of all I created after that.
